Humanity is doomed
Somebody over at Something Awful did a little artful data mining on the recently released AOL search logs. This is the result. If you can read this and not think that we deserve to exterminate each other, I applaud your optimism. 'Cause it makes me feel like I should quit my job and devote myself to developing some sort of addiction.

Other interesting findings of the AOL released but retracted logs are available at http://data.aolsearchlogs.com.
When i think about future of humanity,i hardly ever see a space faring civilization,no matter how hard i try,all i see is destruction and doom.
This past week was very historical in terms of future of humanity,i read they increased the life of a lab rat three fold of its siblings.Hmmm..prolonged life is possible now and finding and making colonies on another Earth is far fetched..so which scenario will happed first..Wars due to overpopulation is my choice. The gap between rich and poor countries is my choice.
Michio Kaku said everything will be digital in future, robots more intelligent than there masters..but he didn't mention hackers and tech criminals.
Genetic engineering, bio weapons, environment disasters, exploitation of resources etc etc..
"Human brain and intelligence and human curiosity will be the ultimate doom for humanity"
I give us another 200 years.
We're only doomed if we don't change and change now. No compromises, we have to stop anything affecting our environment negatively. We have to stop how we affect eachother negatively. We spend a large fraction of all of our resources on fighting eachother. This has to stop NOW. not in 20 years, but NOW. Here's a fun fact: the annual global spending on military is about 1.4 trillion dollars. The U.S. accounts for almost half of that. Imagine what 1.4 trillion dollars could do in one year if we spent it right? When I saw "WE", I mean every Human on this plant.
