Things I Learned By Watching VH1

1. Fergie's video, "London Bridge", still sucks. A LOT.

2. Gnarls Barkley made a cover of The Violent Femmes' "Gone Daddy Gone" I used to listen to that song at parties...while drinking Kool Aid mixed with vodka in a plastic garbage can. Eh, so much for nostalgia.

3. Speaking of old...the Red Hot Chili Peppers are still making music. I was shocked to see Anthony Kiedis without a walker.

Well, I'm still in puke-land by Fergie. I never did the garbage can drinking. And, the RHCP are MY age! Hey, Keith Richards can fall out of a coconut tree and be playing guitar 6 months later - he should be in the walker!

So true about Keith Richards! I guess the RHCP shocked me because that's what I listened to growing up! I thought the kids would have moved on by now, but I guess not. Evidently, they are the apogee of coolness!
